Virtual Reality seat choices anyone? Dubai-based Emirates has taken it up a notch with three-dimensional, 360-degree, virtual reality renderings of its three-class, double-decker Airbus A380s that you can fully explore before booking your seat or, let’s be real, just for kicks.
From Emirates’s website or app, would-be fliers can roam the aisles of the A380, checking out different seating configurations and getting the full scope of the plane, from the crammed-in middle seat in economy to the expansive first-class suites and “shower spa.” Every feature is rendered to impressive detail, down to the stocked minibars of the business-class seats and the faux-wood upholstery of the lounge at the back of the plane’s upper deck.
